Rooted in love, we are a multilingual (English / Spanish) United Church of Christ Community of Faith, Justice, Advocacy and Action. We are Progressive Christians who boldly proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are an Immigrant Welcoming, Open & Affirming, Sanctuary Church that values people and uplifts the dignity of all of God's Creation.
OUR VISION AND MISSION
Our mission is to prepare the way for the final establishment of the kingdom of God on earth. Its object is, first, to cultivate the attributes of Christ in man; and second, to transform society so that the world is a better and more peaceful place to live.
WHAT WE DO
We transmit the common faith to each believer and articulate it in each one of them in a personal and community way, as a space of encounter with the God revealed by Jesus Christ. This means that the Church is a sacrament, that is, a sign and instrument of communion with God and men.
OUR COMMUNITY
We exist to help members become more like Christ by encouraging everyone to pay attention to others and lift the burdens of those we love and care about. It also creates a safe place where people can live according to their beliefs.
FIND YOUR FAITH
A great way to define what faith means is to use the word "trust." Because that's what it's all about! Just as a little child trusts his parents, in the same way God wants us to trust him.
